Avanza is coming on November 16! It will be held in Twin Falls, ID at Canyon Ridge High School from 6-
9pm. Although Avanza is targeted towards assisting Seniors with next steps and scholarship
opportunities, we welcome any Juniors who may want a jump start towards learning about next steps to
prepare them for the Admission Process. That said, we will have a presentation specific to Juniors in
preparation of their Senior year. Seniors will have the opportunity to interview with Idaho Central Credit
Union for a chance to win a $1,000 STACKABLE scholarship to the U of I (MUST ATTEND AVANZA in order
to be considered for the scholarship). Our CAMP and Office of Multicultural Affairs will also be present
to answer any questions students may have and help them with the CAMP application. Our Spanish
speaking Financial Aid Advisors will also be present to help students complete the FAFSA, great event for
Spanish speaking families and students who need assistance with FAFSA.
¡Avanza llega el 16 de noviembre! Que se llevará a cabo en Twin Falls, ID en Canyon Ridge High School
de 6 a 9 p. m. Aunque Avanza tiene como objetivo ayudar a los estudiantes de último año con los
próximos pasos y las oportunidades de becas, damos la bienvenida a cualquier estudiante de tercer año
que desee comenzar a aprender sobre los próximos pasos para prepararlos para el proceso de admisión.
Dicho esto, tendremos una presentación específica para Juniors en preparación para su último año. Las
personas mayores tendrán la oportunidad de entrevistarse con Idaho Central Credit Union para tener la
oportunidad de ganar una beca APILABLE de $ 1,000 para la U of I (DEBE ASISTIR A AVANZA para ser
considerado para la beca). Nuestro CAMP y la Oficina de Asuntos Multiculturales también estarán
presentes para responder cualquier pregunta que los estudiantes puedan tener y ayudarlos con la
solicitud de CAMP. Nuestros asesores de ayuda financiera de habla hispana también estarán presentes
para ayudar a los estudiantes a completar la FAFSA.
