4-3-25 I am pleased to announce that SPARK Afterschool has been awarded the 21st CCLC Grant for Round 17 for White Pine Elementary and Mountain View Elementary.

SPARK AFTERSCHOOL

• Our mission is to provide youth & families with educational experiences in a safe, supervised environment to promote positive youth development, exploration, learning, and leadership during out-of-school hours. 

  The SPARK Afterschool Program office is located at Dworshak Elementary. 

  We currently provide after-school enrichment to the following schools:

  • Mountain View Elementary

  • White Pine Elementary

  • Burley Jr. High

  • Dworshak Elementary

  • John V. Evans Elementary

  A typical day of after-school may include:

  • Nutritious snack

  • Physical activity

  • Homework help & academic tutoring

  • Enrichment activities

  • Leadership opportunities

  • Service-learning

  • Social-Emotional Learning

  Program Operations for School Year 2025-2026:

  • Online Registration for SPARK Opens: August 5, 2025

  • Program Starts: Monday, September 15, 2025

  • Operation: Monday-Thursday after school, no program on Fridays

  • Elem Last Day April 16, 2026

  • Jr High Last Day May 21, 2026

  • Summer Program June 8-19, 2026
