The Human Resources department endeavors to make information available to applicants, substitutes, certified and classified staff as well as retired employees. We strive to facilitate ease of use, centrality, and uniformity in order that we may provide accurate & timely employee benefit information.

Payroll Information

As an employee of the Cassia Jt School District No 151, your position should fall under one of the following types:

Part Time/Hourly/Daily:  Substitute Teacher, Substitute Aide, Substitute Cook, Community Coaches  etc.

  • Paid for hours and/or days worked as submitted on an approved time sheet.  (Except Coaches)

  • Community, non-certified coaches of High School sports are paid a stipend over the three months of the sport's season.

  • Community, non-certified coaches of Jr High School sports are paid a stipend over the two months of the sport's season.

Part Time Regular:  Any position where regularly scheduled hours are normally less than 20 hours per week.

  • Paid a pro-rated annualized salary each month.  Normally August through July for employees working during the normal school year.

  • Eligible for paid leave as noted on the paid leave pages of this website for classified and certified staff independently.

Part Benefit Eligible:  Any position where regularly scheduled hours are between 20 and 29.99 per week. 

  • Paid a pro-rated annualized salary each month.  Normally August through July for employees working during the normal school year.

  • Eligible for PERSI Retirement, dental, and life insurance and Health Insurance at a pro-rated district paid benefit based upon full time equivalence.  (See Benefit Information/Resources on the left panel of this webpage.)

  • Eligible for paid leave as noted on the paid leave pages of this website for classified and certified staff independently.

Full Benefit Eligible:  Any position where regularly scheduled hours are between 30-40 per week.

  • Paid a pro-rated annualized salary each month.  Normally August through July for employees working during the normal school year.

  • Eligible for PERSI Retirement, health, dental, and life insurance at a pro-rated district paid benefit based upon full time equivalence.  (See Benefit Information/Resources on the left panel of this webpage.)

  • Eligible for paid leave as noted on the paid leave pages of this website for classified and certified staff independently.

Twelve month, Year around staff:

  • are paid a pro-rated annualized salary each month, normally July through June.  

  • are paid a full month's salary (the1st day through the last day of the month they are working) on the 25th of the month.  This creates a situation where the employee is paid for, at least, five days in advance of the days and/or hours actually being worked. 

  • Eligible for paid leave as noted on the paid leave pages of this website for classified and certified staff independently.

     

 ALL EMPLOYEES:

  • are required to submit time through Kronos for hours worked.  (Exempt staff report time off only; ie Administrators, teachers and supervisors)

  • Note:  the pay period for submitting time through Kronos and absence reporting runs from the 11th day of the first month through the 10th day of the second month.

  • are paid once per month, either through direct deposit or Rapid Pay Card, direct deposits are made on the 25th.  Checks are mailed on the day before payday.  (If the 25th falls on a holiday or on a weekend, Payday will fall the first working day after, but may be paid the day prior.
