STUDENT RECORDS
Under Idaho law and district records retention policies, former students requesting copies of academic or educational records must submit their request directly to the last school they attended. The last school of enrollment serves as the official custodian of student records and is responsible for processing educational record requests in accordance with applicable state and federal student privacy laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Former students should contact the registrar, counseling office, or administrative office of their last attended school for information regarding record request procedures, identification requirements, applicable fees, and processing timelines.
