Nine students from Burley High School and two from Declo High School recently traveled to Orlando, Florida, for the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference (BPA NLC). During the conference, students compete in individual and team events representing various aspects of business and technical skills and knowledge. Both schools had students placed in the top ten at the National level.

Declo's Ellie Nebeker placed first in the nation in Health Administration Procedures.

Burley had multiple team and individual successes. Kaden Gammon, Ana Alverez, and Emily Perez's Administrative Support Team placed fourth in the nation. Isaiah Farfan and Logan Hepworth's Computer Animation Team placed fifth in the nation. Sager Lynch, Aubree Tracy, and Ayden Draper's User Experience Design Team placed tenth in the nation. Kaden Gammon placed 15th in the nation in Intermediate Word Processing. Ana Alverez placed 18th in the nation in Advanced Word Processing. Dean Shaw placed 40th in the nation in Python Programming.

The BPA advisors at Burley are Janet Cole, Tammy Cooper, and Cherise Gentry. The Declo BPA advisor is Chancey Christiansen.
