Q: How many credits do students need to participate in extra-curricular activities?

A: Six credit-bearing classes

Q: How many absences can my student have and in what time frames?

A: A student who misses more than four days in any one class, each semester, may lose credit

Q: What is the purpose of Academic Lab and how does attendance there affect my student?

A: Academic Lab is a time where students and teachers work collaboratively on academic success. The grade for academic lab is based on attendance, given as a lab assignment worth 5% in each A or B Day class, and is assigned at the end of each semester. If a student misses four days, they lose 5% of the semester grade for each of that day's classes. If a student misses less than four days they get an extra 5% added to their grade in each class.
