Dual Credit Courses
Dual credit courses allow a student to earn credit in both high school and college at the same time. Students can look at class options through the following online course catalog https://oakleyhs.idiglearning.net/ or meet with Mrs. Wadsworth and Mr. Morgan regarding dual credit courses.

IMPORTANT: The tuition for dual credit classes can be paid for by the State's Fast Forward funds, up to the amount of $4,625 per student, as long as the proper steps are taken, as described below. We help walk the students through these steps, but we want you to be clear on the process:
Steps for In-School Dual Credit and Fast Forward Funding
Register for the course at the high school.
Apply to the college as a dual credit student (CSI, CWI, BSU, NNU, or LCSC).
After being accepted, register for the course at the college.
Sign the Advanced Opportunities Participation Form (see below) and turn in to the school counselor (Aaron Morgan).
Have the counselor add your name/course to the Idaho Advanced Opportunities portal.
Repeat these registration steps each semester.
Steps for Online Dual Credit through IDLA
Go to https://oakleyhs.idiglearning.net/ to decide which class you want and register for it in the course catalog. It will go to the counselor for approval.
Sign the Advanced Opportunities Participation Form (below) and turn in to the school counselor (Aaron Morgan).
Have the counselor add your name/course to the Idaho Advanced Opportunities portal.
Repeat these registration steps each semester.
Be Aware
College courses are generally much faster paced than regular high school courses.
Grades earned in dual credit courses affect your college GPA forever and may affect financial aid eligibility.
When registering for a college course, you must be aware of the college policies regarding deadlines for enrolling, withdrawing and grading.
