1/11/24 5:59 AM: Due to weather related issues, there will be a 2-hour delayed start for the 11-2 Malta Almo bus route only. All other bus routes in Cassia County will run on their normal schedule. All Cassia County schools will start at their normal times. If parents of students riding the Malta Almo bus 11-2 are able to safely drive their students in to school, they are welcome to. If not, parents of students riding the Malta Almo bus 11-2 should expect the bus to pick up their child 2 hours later than their usual pick up time.

UPDATE 1/10/24 11:55 am: There has been some confusion & misinformation moving around as to whether or not Cassia County schools will be released early today due to current weather conditions. For now, all Cassia County schools will not be released early and will follow their normal schedules. Student & Staff safety are very important to us, and we are continuing to watch the weather closely. If circumstances change and an early release becomes necessary, we will be sure to send out communications through text, phone calls, and emails to let all parents & staff members know as soon as possible. In our effort to keep students and staff safe and to be prepared for every possibility, we will be conducting a lockdown drill tomorrow, Wednesday, November 28. The drill should not last very long. Local law enforcement will be participating with us during the drill. Thank you for your support of our school. Mrs. Solis' Home Ec. class is selling hot chocolate tomorrow morning before school. It will be 50 cents and they will be selling it outside the 4th grade door. Don’t forget! TOMORROW Thursday, October 5 is Spirit Day Dollar Day (1-6 grade) and Pay a dollar to wear a hat day If you pay a dollar, you can wear a hat all day. The money we raise will go to our Specials Programs (PE, Library, Music, and STEAM).

Back to School Night is this Thursday, August 17 from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Come meet your teacher and drop off your school supplies. We will have someone here from the bus garage. Many of the bus numbers for our school have changed, so please check and make sure you have the right number for your student. We will also have forms here to apply for free and reduced lunch. Please fill one out for your family. We're looking forward to a great year!
