JVE is starting a chess team! This will be a great opportunity for many of our students.
Interested students 1st - 6th grade are welcome to join this club if they are serious about playing and eventually competing in chess tournaments. This is not just a club; it is a team. For this reason, students and their parents must be willing to come on Friday mornings to practice from 9:30-10:30 am.
It will start this Friday, October 28th in the cafeteria. (Parents are required to join the first meeting!)
