Melina Ficek will be the new principal at Mountain View Elementary. She is married to Jeramie and they have 3 grown children, 2 son-in-laws, and 1 grandson.
Melina began her career in education in 2011 and has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. She taught for 9 years before moving to be an administrator at Raft River Elementary and Albion Elementary. She is passionate about early literacy and reading.
Melina will greatly miss the communities, staff, and students of Malta and Albion. She is very excited to be able to serve the staff, students, and families of Mountain View and is looking forward to new challenges and adventures.
