Mountain View will be participating in "Starts with Hello" week during the week of September 19th-22nd! This program was started by parents of Sandy Hook school children in 2013 and has impacted many schools in a positive way to end school violence and include every child.
The three steps of Starts with Hello Week are:
1.) See someone alone
2.) Reach Out and Help
3.) Start with Hello.
We will be doing activities during the school day to help students understand what it means to include others. Please see the different activities and ask your students about their day when they come home!

Tuesday Upstander Day: Be an upstander and connect friends to help!
Wednesday Green-out: Wear green (Sandy Hook's Colors) to show we support each other!
Thankful Thursday: Write a thank you letter or card to a trusted adult!
