Mountain View Elementary

As outlined in Idaho Code § 33-1639, all Cassia County Schools will be adding a moment of silence into their schedules at the start of each school day this year. During this moment, students are welcome to use their time to participate in whichever silent practice they choose, as long as it does not distract others, such as a time to reflect, meditate, pray, or think quietly. To assist us in implementing this moment of silence each day, we are asking all parents and guardians to please visit with your children about this time, its purpose, and to offer them guidance on how to best use their moment to set them up for success during their school day. We appreciate your support and willingness to help us make this a positive experience for all.
