Children that will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall, need to pre-register on Friday, April 12, 2024. This provides the district with information about the number of Kindergarten children who will be attending school in the Fall. Please register from 8:00-3:00 PM at Dworshak Elementary. Your part of the registration process is to:
1. Bring the child’s birth certificate: Birth certificate must be a certified birth certificate, not a hospital certificate. (children must be five years on or before September 1).
2. Bring your child’s completed immunization record. Your child needs 4 polio, 5 DPT,
2 MMR, 3 HEP B, 2 HEP A, and 2 Varicella shots before they can attend school.
3. Fill out a registration form.
4. Bring your child with you. They will be taking a readiness test.
5. Proof of Residency (for example: power bill, water bill, or utility bill)
You may request either a morning or an afternoon session. We will do our best to honor these requests, but we cannot guarantee your first choice.
Kindergarten Sessions: 8:05-11:15 A.M. and 12:15-3:25 P.M.
As all the teachers are experienced, competent, and love children, we feel that your child will have a successful experience with any teacher. Therefore, we ask that you NOT request a specific teacher. If there are extenuating circumstances, you may visit with the principal.
Your child will not be able to attend school in the Fall unless the immunizations are current and the child has a certified birth certificate!!!

1. Acta de nacimiento ( niños deben tener cinco años cumplidos antes del 1 de Septiembre)
2. Registro de vacunas ( niños necesitan: 5 dosis de DPT, 4 dosis de Polio, 2 dosis de MMR-anti-sarampión, y
3 dosis de HEP B, 2 dosis de HEP A, y 2 vacunas de Varicela antes de entrar a la escuela).
3. Llene el formulario acerca de su estudiante.
4. Su niño o niña (se le dará un exámen corto)
5. Prueba de residencia (por ejemplo: cuenta eletrica, cuenta del agua)
Sesiones del Kinder: 8:20-11:15 a.m. and 12:10-3:00 p.m Vamos a hacer lo posible para darle la sesión que ha pedido para su niño(a), pero no se lo podemos garantizar.
Todas las maestras son competentes, y aman a los niños. Creemos que su niño(a) tendrá una experiencia exitosa con cualquier maestra. Le pedimos que NO exija una maestra específica. Si hay alguna circunstancia especial o problema, por favor visite con la directora.
Su estudiante no podra asistir el kinder en Agosto si las vacunas no son corrientes o si no tiene acta de nacimiento!!!
