Families can receive $1,000 per child and up to $3,000 per family to pay for K-12 educational expenses, including computers, internet, tutoring services, and supplies through the EMPOWERING PARENTS GRANT. Grant Applications are open now - so apply today! Be sure to have your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number on hand when you apply.
Grants will be awarded to those who apply and qualify based upon income in three rounds until funds are depleted. For those awarded, funds will be transferred into a Student Wallet account for parents to make purchases within the Empowering Parents Marketplace. Once awarded, funds will remain available for up to 24 months.
Round 1 - Funds awarded on Oct. 7th for families with a yearly income of $60,000 or less.
Round 2 - Funds awarded on Oct. 12th for families with a yearly income of $75,000 or less, If funds are still available after round 1
Round 3 - Funds awarded on Oct. 20th for families with a yearly income of $75,000 or more, If funds are still available after both rounds 1 & 2
