Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will run October 22-26, 2018.  Red Ribbon Week wsa started by the National Family Partnership to promote drug prevention, education and awareness.  The theme for this year's Red Ribbon Week is "Life is Your Journey, Travel Drug Free!"  Each day students can dress up in wasy that will help us remember the theme and to be drug free.  

 

Monday 22nd:  We are RED-y to be Drug Free; wear as much red as you can

Tuesday 23rd:  Drugs aren't COOL, but we are; wear neon and sunglasses

Wednesday 24th:  We will always LEI off drugs; Hawaiian day- wear leis, flower shirts, grass skirts, etc.

Thursday 25th:  From HEAD to TOE we're drug free; silly hair and sock day

Friday 26th:  We're TRAVELING drug free; dress like a tourist day- sunglasses, floppy hats, camera, socks with sandals, etc. 

 

Our school will also be participating in the Red Ribbon Organization's photo contest.  We will need your votes to win!  Log onto redribbon.org everyday between November 2-16 to vote for our schools' photo.  Be sure to ask your friends and family on social media to vote every dya too.  We can win $1,000 for our school!!  

 

Some classes will also be participating in door decorating, essay contests and art contests.  

 

Let's make this year's Red Ribbon Week a HUGE success!
