Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Alicia Schlattmann
Hello! My name is Alicia Schlattmann and I am the counselor at Mountain View. I have been a school counselor for four years; this is my second year at Mountain View. I love working with our students and have loved my time at Mountain View! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Idaho and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I graduated with a Master of Counseling Degree from Idaho State University in 2012 with an emphasis in school counseling. Go Bengals!
I enjoy working in a school setting, and I support public education. I believe one of the most important things we can do for children is to listen to them. I get to listen to and know our students as I teach guidance lessons every other week in their classrooms. We learn about things like friendship, safety, and working hard. I also check in with individual students regularly, and plan school wide events. I also plan to start some small groups this year. If there are any questions or concerns you have regarding your child(ren) please feel free to contact me.
Some of my favorite things outside of my job are swimming, being with my niece and nephews, watching a good movie, reading a good book, campfires, and looking at the stars.
