• GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS I: FALL SEMESTER. TWO PERIODS/TWO CREDITS. (TI 0700—Media Technologies Fundamentals and TI0701)
    PREREQUISITE: Algebra I (or currently enrolled in Algebra I), Keyboarding Recommended. Grade 11.

     

    Designer. Photographer. Filmmaker. Dreamer. No matter who you are, there’s something new for you in the ever-changing fascinating world of visual communications. Students learn the basics, beginning with Adobe Photoshop (image editing) and Illustrator (illustration) learning to combine art and design principles with today’s latest technology to create unique creations. Students design a keychain that will be printed to a 3D printer available in the classroom and a t-shirt to screen print. College credits are available.

    This program is articulated with the College of Southern Idaho. You may earn college credits towards an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design giving you an advantage over most of your peers across the country. 

    Students will be responsible for any consumables while completing personal projects.
