The Idaho Reading Indicator
All Kindergarten-3rd grade students in the state of Idaho are required to participate in the Idaho Reading Indicator, or IRI, each fall, winter, and spring. The test administered to students to participate in the Idaho Reading Indicator, or IRI, is called the ISIP and is administered through Istation. The purpose of this screener is to assess students' developing literacy skills and to monitor growth and progress throughout the school year. The ISIP modeling videos below are intended to help you and your student become more familiar with Istation before participating in the ISIP. Each video models a different subset of the ISIP.
