About Speech class
Speech is required for graduation and is a one-semester course, usually taken during students' junior years. Each speech course includes 5 required speeches as well as many in-class speaking opportunities.
New to school year 20/21 is a Basics speech course designed for students whose first language isn't English and for students who have not yet had many public speaking opportunities. Students who think they might benefit from the Basics course must be recommended for the class by any of the following: ESL teacher, IEP teacher, BHS administrator and/or counselor.
Mrs. Fisher's schedule changes from semester to semester. She is located in Room 107.
