About Mrs. Campos
I love teaching English as a Second Language! It is so much more than teaching a "language". It is about embracing different cultures and learning the reason "why" we speak English the way we do here in the United States. I have students from at least 4 different Spanish-speaking countries. We are constantly debating language! It is also important to understand that learning to speak a second language is not a deficit, nor a disability! I am here to build confidence in my students so they can grow, and go out into the community and be successful.
I am Idahoan! I was born and raised here in the Mini-Cassia area. I graduated from Minico in 1997. I have been in education for over 17 years. My career began in Minidoka County School District, where I was employed for 10 years. I joined the Federal Programs office in Cassia in 2014 and have been in this awesome school district ever since. I have 4 awesome children: Anthony (21), Vanessa (21), Ysabelle (20), and Aaron (13). In my free time I love to travel, eat, and be entertained!
