I currently teach Introduction to Spanish and Culture, Sheltered Geography, Sheltered Englihs 7, Sheltered U.S. History, Sheltered English 8, and Study Skills.

Students will need a notebook for notes, for each class they take with me. Pencil, pen, colors (markers, or color pencils will work), glue, scissors, and a folder.

Our classes are full of hands-on, and learning activities. Whether it's learning a new language, or learning the content.

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. My family and I migrated quite a bit ago, we lived in Chicago for some years, and finally settled down in Rupert, Idaho. Growing up, I was an English Learner, as well as a Migrant student. Due to my personal experiences in learning a second language and the great teachers I had, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, and give back to my community. I wanted to help others the way I had been helped. These teachers taught me the love of learning. I have an Associate's degree from CSI in Early Child Develpment, a Bachelor's Degree from ISU in Elementary Education, along with my Master's degree from BSU in ESL/ Bilingual Education. I am starting my 21st year in working in the educational system. I have enjoyed every minute of those years. I am married to my wonderful husband Trino, and I have two amazing children; Cristy and David.
