Degrees and Certifications:
I was birthed in Eastern Oregon and was a ranch kid on dad's ranch--Alfalfa hay crop, Cattle, Sheep, and a few horses. Spent a lot of time in Meridian with mom too, back when it was not-even-close to being part of Boise. I have played and coached a lot of football, wrestling, and can put on a decent game of basketball too. But as we all know, wrestling is not only the sport of Deities, but the greatest of all sports--just ask Sampson, Polydamas, or Jacob. I have been a bit of wandering spirit as I have lived in 9 different states in the western US and Idaho is my favorite of all! I have been an insurance agent, store manager for two different corporations, a ranch hand, social worker, part-time military, and everything in-between before finally discovering what I really love to do...teaching and coaching. By 2004 I graduated with my degree in Secondary Ed-Social Studies from the University of Wyoming. I taught the last three years in Caldwell before my son Noah and I moved here with me. My wife and other children will join us later this school year. I am currently attending BSU for my masters, enjoying teaching at Declo Jr. High, and totally wowed by the staff and kids alike!!!! What a great and beautiful place to be!
