The Declo Girls and Burley Boys Soccer Teams have qualified for the State Tournament. The Lady Hornets play at Vallivue HS in Caldwell on October 19th at 2:00p. The Bobcat Boys play at Brothers Park in Caldwell on October 19th at 11:00a. More information can be found at the IHSAA Website.
Our very own Mr. Jacoby Fox has been selected as the Physical Education Teacher of the Year by the SHAPE Idaho (Society of Health and Physical Educators) for his outstanding leadership, support, encouragement, and guidance of health and physical education in our school, community, and society. He will be recognized at the 2017 SHAPE Idaho Conference in Lewiston on October 6-7. Congratulations Mr. Fox!
Mr. Bott would like to express, on behalf of the student athletes at DHS, his gratitude to all those who helped with the leveling of the soccer field lat night!
Idaho Juniors may apply through the State Dept of Education to have the opportunity to take a special STEM class that could result in their having an opportunity to visit the NASA Ames Research Center next summer and meet top NASA scientists and engineers.
Declo High School senior Jacob Zollinger was selected to participate in this program this past year.

Food Drive: FCCLA is organizing a food drive for the month of November. They will be collecting non-perishable food items. This will be a class competition. Boxes will be in the following rooms: 9th-Mrs. Heward, 10th-Mr. Knowles, 11th-Mrs. Young, and 12th- Ms. Jackson.
East coast trip: The second payment is due and needs to be mailed to Educational Tours by the 22nd of November.
Open Gym: There will be open gym today and Thursday for BBB at 5:30pm.
Try-outs: BBB try-outs will be on Monday, November 20th at 6:30 am.
Monday: Early release day at 12:40pm.
Monday: Mr. DHS at 7pm in the Auditorium. Cost is $5/person.
Tuesday: GBB at Raft River at 6pm. Bus leaves at 4:30pm.
Wednesday: Fall Band Concert at 7pm in the Auditorium.
Thursday: GBB at Valley at 6pm. Bus leaves at 4:30pm.
Saturday: State Football at the Holt Arena at 2:45pm
